Nokia once held the crown in mobility. With its portfolio of cell phones that is massive and feature-packed, the brand seems to equate to a social status to anyone bearing their handsets. Its devices have sold like pancakes -- making them to be at the top spot for several years.
However, the emergence of the iPhone had stolen the limelight from them, and the swarm of Android handsets had dominated the smartphone race. Nokia, in an effort to reclaim its crown, resorted to Windows Phone OS, where desired results weren't achieved, and its hardware division was acquired by Microsoft. Now, it looks like the Finnish company is up for a comeback as its latest C1 surfaces once again.
According to rumours and speculations, Nokia C1 will be the first smartphone to bear the company's branding in years. A new batch of info of the device shows its renders and possible hardware sheet.
First off, the new image would seem to be from the same source that has been surfacing as of late, so it would be best to take it with a grain of salt as with any rumours. The same source also suggests that C1 might come in two variants, with both having different camera setups.
As far as the specification sheet goes, the alleged Nokia C1 will have a 5.0 or a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution. The base model will come with a 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage pairing, while the other one will have 3 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage. The camera setup will come with 8 MP primary plus 5 MP selfie shooter, while the other a 13 MP primary and the same 5 MP front snapper. Furthermore, Nokia C1 will not only run with just Android OS in tow but there will also be a Windows 10 variant available.
