The final installment to the "Uncharted" game franchise "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was recently released and two amusing trophies has already been discovered. It appears that Naughty Dog has incorporated the hidden trophies as a form of a self-deprecating joke over previous comments and a demo fail.
Naughty Dog has added a couple of funny trophies that gamers may choose to complete in "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." The first one titled "Stage Fright" will require a player to stand "perfectly still for 30 seconds" just before the start of the city chase, according to Gear Nuke. The "Stage Fright" trophy has been incorporated to represent the demo fail that happened during the 2015 E3 conference. At that time, the game's protagonist Nathan Drake was left standing still for several seconds during the E3 stage demo for "Uncharted 4."
The idea to recreate the E3 2015 demo fail came from reddit user Lukeid123, as stated in the same report. Lukeid123 suggested the idea in a reddit post made six months ago. Naughty Dog's lead designer Kurt Margenau responded to the said thread three months back on how it was a good idea. Margenau again took to reddit on Wednesday, May 11, to comment that the suggested trophy has been incorporated in the game. "I figured at least you would try to get the trophy this way without knowing about it. It was too good not to put in!" Margenau wrote.
The second amusing trophy that Naughty Dog added to "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has been titled "Ludonarrative Dissonance," Eurogamer reports. The trophy's title was reportedly a phrase that "Far Cry 2" Director Clint Hocking came up with to describe the "disconnect between a game's narrative elements and its gameplay." The game "Uncharted" has also been the subject of comments over having a likable game character who also "recklessly" kills other characters.
In response to the said comment, Naughty Dog has added the "Ludonarrative Dissonance" trophy to "Uncharted 4." The said trophy will be awarded to players who will be able to defeat 1,000 enemies in the game.
Meanwhile, gamers may find these two hidden trophies hilarious. It is also amusing to discover that Naughty Dog has decided to poke fun at a demo fail and feedback they received for the game. "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has been released on May 10 for Playstation 4 consoles.
