Twitter is launching a companion app called Engage. The new app allow celebrities, creators, public figures and influencers to stay connected to followers and have access to real-time data and insights.
According to Design&Trend, Engage lets users see their mentions from their most loyal fans and other influencers. The new application aims to make it faster and easier for a celebrity to reply to important people's tweets
According to Mashable, Twitter's Engage app comes with data tools for keeping track of number of retweets, video views and mentions. This makes it the perfect tool for those who want to have access to useful data that may help in gaining more followers and with to keep their followers up to date with what they're doing.
Twitter said in its blog post that Engage outlines user's account audience and performance, providing an easy and convenient way to have access to key stats. Then app also provides the possibility to filter the stats via different time periods. Users will be able to go even deeper by accessing real-time feed of their fans and evaluate the audience demographics.
In order to keep track of how they are performing (like how many people have like or retweeted them), Twitter's new Engage app is also able to review all the GIFs, photos, videos and other activity. Twitter Senior Product Manager Matt Dennebaum wrote in the blog post that Engage can help users to get the big picture of their followers.
Digital Trends reports that Twitter's Engage new app provides a detailed dashboard of statistics for usurers. They can see the number of impressions, mentions, retweets and likes accumulated in a given time frame. Percentage changes and weekly totals are also provided.
This features are particularly useful for influencers, creators and public figures who need to create a special connection with their followers on Twitter. Through Tweets, they can have conversations and share content in real time with fans and other influencers.
