iPhone 7 vs OnePlus 3: Can The Flagship Killer Beat The New Apple Phone?

The OnePlus 3 has been dubbed as a "flagship killer" and it has rightfully received that nickname. There were a lot of expectations for the unit before its release and actually received mixed reviews upon its launch. Despite this, it has been doing very well in terms of sales. But with the release of iPhone 7 coming closer and closer, it is possible that the OnePlus 3 will be knocked off its pedestal.

Apple has a tradition of introducing new iPhone editions every year. As Game N Guide notes, September is the release of the iPhone 7. There will be 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch variations of the phone, but it seems like Apple will largely stick with the specs from their iPhone 6 series.

The publication goes on to claim that Apple is dropping rumored ideas of a dual-lens sensor due to "immature technology." Although, the iPhone 7 is expected to sport more color options, as well as dual sim slot.

IBT adds that the iPhone 7 will be powered by the A10 chipset and will come with 3GB of RAM. Like all its predecessors, it will provide options of internal storage - this time, 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. The rear camera is expected to be 12 megapixels and a 5 megapixel front camera. Apple is also expected to address battery concerns by placing a larger one in the iPhone 7.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 3 sports a metal unibody design, but StyleSwap protective cases are also available for purchase. The screen is 5.5 inches and supports full HD resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset and has 6GB or RAM, with an internal storage of 64GB.

The camera of the OnePlus 3, on the other hand, is 16 megapixels in the rear and 8 megapixels in the front. The OnePlus also has USB Type-C port for easy connections. The OnePlus 3 has a 3000 mAH battery.
