It is no secret that a new "Stellaris" patch titled "Asimov" will be released soon. Well, actually, it has already arrived. And sure enough, Paradox Interactive has once again delivered expectations. The new patch introduces several battle improvements along with some system enhancements -- all generated from the community.

"Stellaris" is the latest sci-fi 4X grand strategy game courtesy of Paradox Interactive. And since its release, it accumulated a great number of player pool. It only proves what a giant the studio is when it comes to such genre.

As promised, the latest "Stellaris" patch called "Asimov" has already arrived. It is now available for players owning Mac, Windows and even Linux PCs. Primarily, as reported by Gamasutra, the latest patch brings enhancements to the game's border systems as well as some battle improvements.

Moreover, the aforementioned "Stellaris" patch offers a couple of in-game system changes. From warfare to diplomacy to the entire empire expansion, Paradox has interestingly upgraded each of them.

Thanks to "Asimov," players can now access borders from empires, as they have been made opened until the diplomatic actions automatically close them. Also, if "Stellaris" players decide to colonize a planet and/or build various outposts, they will have to spend some influence.

As for the Diplomacy interface, players are now given lots of options and actions -- all of which can trigger diplomatic incidents, as reported by Gameranx. Furthermore, experiencing more epic, clearer battles is now possible, thanks to appearance improvements being brought into the picture.

"Stellaris" is deemed as one of the best real-time strategy games nowadays. It is game that is somewhat akin to "Galactic Civilizations" in terms of scale. The main focus of players is to be a space conqueror. But of course, such achievement is not easy, so they need all the resources they can come up with to fulfil it.
