Rumors about the purported iPhone 5 seem to stay here for long. A recent leaked image of the rumored iPhone strengthens the earlier claims of a taller phone.
A recent report published in Engadget citing a "historically reliable" source uBreakiFix, a repair firm, claimed that the next generation iPhone will be taller and thinner than the iPhone 4S. The phone will also have aluminum back with glass ends and a steel antenna band. The latest images also reveal that the phone will have a smaller dock connector and headphone jack that have been relocated to the bottom corner of the handset.
Meanwhile, 9to5Mac also posted some high-resolution images on Tuesday claiming that the images are received from its "supply-chain sources." The latest images show that the next generation phone will be completely overhauled with redesigned speaker grills, small opening between the camera lens and the flash to house a second microphone and a smaller, pill-shaped dock connector with 16 pins.
While all the features of the phone are still rumored, it is expected that the next generation Apple iPhone will come with a 4-inch Retina display with 16:9 Aspect Ratio and will feature a unibody design, an A6 or "a variation of the A5X's S5L8945X architecture" processor, 1GB RAM, iOS 6 operating system, 3D GUI, 3D camera, NFC feature and iWallet app.
