First Look At 'The Flash' Season 3 During Comic-Con: Flashpoint Universe, Kid Flash And More!

The official trailer for season three of "The Flash" was revealed last Saturday night during Comic-Con in San Diego. In line with that, there have been many changes, revelations and new things to look out for on the upcoming season.

The cast and crew of "The Flash" recently faced their avid fans in a panel interview during the San Diego Comic-Con held last Saturday. It was also during then that they have finally revealed the first official trailer for their upcoming third season.

The fans were given a glimpse of what is called the Flashpoint timeline, an effect of Barry Allen making a major change in the timeline during the season two finale. In the upcoming "The Flash" season three, both of Barry's parents are now alive, he never lived with Joe and Iris, and he also never met Cisco and Caitlin.

According to Variety, among all the many changes in his life, one thing that hasn't changed is his ability to be a speedster. That means he hasn't lost his powers, making him still affected of the particle accelerator blowing up. This may perceive the fact that he is just living in an alternate timeline and universe, with his previous world still existing somewhere.

As for Barry's relationship with Iris, Grant Gustin explained during the panel interview that this time Barry may have to work on him pursuing Iris. However, Candice Patton, who plays the role of Iris, revealed that the fans will finally see Barry and Iris try and have a relationship work, as reported by Collider. The West-Allen shippers are definitely excited about this.

Another new character in the Flashpoint timeline of "The Flash" is Kid Flash whom fans have been very excited about as well. Lonsdale, who portrays Wally and will soon be known as the Kid Flash, expressed his excitement in his role as well. He reveals that Iris will definitely be in the light of his other identity, but doesn't say if their father, Joe, knows about it.

There will be new villains to be introduced in the show, one is a speedster and the other is Doctor Alchemy. Their identities will be revealed as the season progresses. Another new addition to the cast is Tom Felton, who has not revealed if he will be a villain in the show or a friend to the team.
