'Divergent' Star Theo James' Wedding With Ruth Kearney Still On; Couple Put Marriage On Hold

Amidst the rumors that couple Theo James and Ruth Kearney have broken up and called off the wedding, they remain to still be together. The wedding was simply being put on hold, not necessarily canceled.

There have been reports that Theo James was supposedly in line to be cast as the next 007 in the next James Bond movie. This has then been the reason that the Theo and his fiancé Ruth Kearney decided to hold off the wedding, to give way for Theo's James Bond opportunity.

However, there have been speculations that Theo did not make the cut for being cast as the next James Bond. Although this hasn't been confirmed by the studios yet, word has been getting around. Aside from a potential movie, there have been allegations that Theo's "Divergent" co-star, Shailene Woodley, is one of the reasons why the couple is not married yet, as reported by Movie News Guide.

Despite the break-up rumors, the couple remained together and has been since 2009. Reports claim that the wedding is only postponed due to various prior commitments by the actor, Theo James.

Chatt Sports Net reported that Theo and Ruth wanted their wedding to be free from complications that have been brought about by the rumors of a third party involved. With the reports of the last movie for the "Divergent" series being canceled, although unconfirmed yet, Theo and Ruth may continue to be planning their wedding.

Speculations of the "Ascendant" movie not pushing through have been circling around the media for quite some time now. Although Theo has yet to speak about the report, co-stars Woodley and Elgort have already said something about it. The stars of the movie series are also unsure of the fate of its upcoming movie.

Since Theo has been quiet amidst all the rumors of movies being canceled and roles not being cast, reports say he and fiance' Ruth may go on with the wedding as planned.
