Some major good news is on the way for PC gamers. As per reports, Activision has just announced a PC version of “Transformers: Fall of Cybertron” that will arrive along with the console versions of the game.
However, it has also been announced that the PC version will be brought along by developer Mercenary Games and not by High Moon Studios. We are just hoping that Mercenary Games will do well and will be able to deliver the same experience like the console versions.
According to the game’s official web page, “'Transformers: Fall of Cybertron' transports you to the final days of the planet Cybertron where you will experience the darkest hours of the apocalyptic war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Embark on an adrenaline-fueled journey through a wide range of missions and massive environments designed around each character’s unique abilities. The combat is intense as you dynamically transform between robot and vehicle form to change the battle as you choose.”
“Transformers: Fall of Cybertron” will let you play as both Autobots and Decepticons in an epic story which is set among the ruins of the Transformers home planet, ravaged from years of war. You will now get to experience the never before told final battles that culminate in the legendary exodus from Cybertron.
The characters expected to appear in the game include: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Jazz, Cliffjumper, Ironhide, Sideswipe, Ratchet, Perceptor, Warpath , Wheeljack, Metroplex, the Dinobots (Grimlock, Sludge, Slug, Snarl and Swoop), and Megatron, Shockwave, Starscream, Soundwave, the Combaticons (Onslaught, Blast Off, Brawl, Swindle and Vortex) and their combined form of Bruticus.
The game is set to arrive on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on August 28, 2012.
