This year's Big Game from the National Football League is switching to another streaming platform as part of its annual rotations, and with Fox Sports being its latest broadcast partner, the Super Bowl LIX is going to be available for free. This is because instead of bringing the Super Bowl LIX on Fox Sports' usual channels or platforms, it will be featuring the championship game on Tubi.
It is known that Tubi is a free, ad-supported streaming service, and not only would it give NFL fans nationwide a chance to access Super Bowl LIX without the need to subscribe, as it is also coming in 4K.
NFL's Super Bowl LIX: Streaming on Tubi For Free, in 4K
Fox Sports announced that this year's Super Bowl LIX championship games will give you one less problem on your streaming experiences, as it will be available to access for free via Tubi. NFL's rotating broadcast partner for the Super Bowl games finally landed back to Fox Sports, but instead of the company opting to stream the games on its other paid services, they are making it available for free.
Tubi is known for being a FAST (free, ad-supported TV) service with on-demand shows available to access, and it is now getting the Big Game for this year as part of Fox Sports' 11th presentation of the championship event.
According to Fox Sports, Tubi is taking over this year's Super Bowl LIX streams, which it will deliver in 4K for users to enjoy, especially on wider screens, but it will also be available without ads on FOX, FOX Deportes, and Telemundo, alongside other NFL digital properties.
Fox Sports Spotlights Tubi for Super Bowl LIX
Tubi offers free streaming for all, and there is only one catch on the service, centered on non-stop ads that are integrated into the stream. However, the good thing is that it will only appear in one area of the screen. Apart from the championship game and the Halftime Show, there will also be a pre-show called 'TUBI RED CARPET AT SUPER BOWL LIX' that will be hosted by Olivia Culpo, starting at 3:30 pm ET on February 9.
Free, Ad-Supported Streaming Is On The Rise
The rise of on-demand streaming has been one of the highlights of the present generation as it paved the way for accessible entertainment, which is available at any given time and place as long as there is an internet connection. However, this experience evolved into something more inclusive, mainly as it gave users who stay away from subscription services a chance still to enjoy online entertainment via free, ad-supported services.
Tubi is among those who popularized free, ad-supported streaming services in the world, with Fox Corporation designating it as its dedicated experience that does not require users to pay for its access. What is even more iconic with Tubi is that it offers both free live TV and on-demand streaming experiences for users, and the only caveat is its non-stop ads that run in one part of the screen.
Users no longer have to worry about paying monthly, bi-annually, or annually to get the entertainment they deserve from these types of platforms, with the service growing famously and rapidly in today's age. Fox Sports is this year's NFL Super Bowl broadcaster, and they are set to deliver Super Bowl LIX via Tubi, with the national audience given not only free access but 4K streams right on their devices.
