UK-based video game developer Stainless Games’ upcoming vehicular combat game “Carmageddon: Reincarnation” now has an entirely new bloody teaser trailer to provide a glimpse of what to expect when the game actually arrives.
This new video is entirely an in-game footage while the game is still being developed. Although it is certain that the developers still have some work to do on the new game, it is fun nonetheless.
“Carmageddon: Reincarnation” is set to feature some environments from “Carmageddon” and possibly from “Carmageddon 2.” The only environement confirmed so far is a modified version of Bleak city from Carmageddon.
According to the game’s Kickstarter page, “Max Damage is back! Carmageddon: Reincarnation is going to reintroduce the gaming world to the original freeform driving sensation, where pedestrians (and cows) equal points and your opponents are a bunch of crazies in a twisted mix of automotive killing machines. It’s the racing game where racing is for wimps.”
“Carmageddon: Reincarnation is a re-boot of everything that made the original games such a blast to play. The new game will be inspired by the classic environments, cars, drivers and power-ups from the original, but dragged screaming and kicking into the current state of the rendered art,” the page adds. “And of course, there will be a bunch of brand new STUFF too, including true rag-doll pedestrians and physics-based power-ups that let you mess with their limbs whilst wiping away the tears - of laughter.”
The game is set to arrive in February next year on PC.
