Galaxy S3 is coming to all major US carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and US Cellular, reported Samsung.
According to the Korean electronics giant, Galaxy S3 will be released in US "in the coming weeks" and all the major carriers will have the phone running on their network starting this month.
Verizon has confirmed that the Galaxy S3 will arrive on June 6 and price of the phone will range from $199.99 (16GB) to $249.99 (32GB).
According to Dale Sohn, president of Samsung Telecommunications America, "The U.S. launch of the Galaxy S III is the most anticipated launch of the year. As promised, we are delivering the 'next big thing' for U.S. customers and across all major carriers." He further adds "Galaxy S III introduces new technological innovation and takes sharing to the next level."
The fabled 4.8-inch Galaxy S phone features Super AMOLED HD screen with 1280 X 720 resolution, Android's latest Ice Cream Sandwich OS, a quad-core Exynos application processor (region specific) and packs in 16/32/64GB internal memory, LTE connection (region specific), Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, 8MP camera with zero-lag shutter speed, 1.9-megapixel front-facing one and a monstrous 2100mah removable battery. The most attractive features of the phone, however, are its latest "S software features," which include S Voice, Smart Stay, S Beam, Pop Up play, Direct Call, Smart Alert, Social Tag, AllShare Media and more. All these features are based on the concept of "human interaction."
A few weeks back, MobileSyrup.com posted a screenshot saying Galaxy S3 is releasing on June 20 in North America, though the website later removed the image. But the news stated that the phone is coming on almost all the carriers such as TELUS, Bell, WIND, Videotron, SaskTel, Mobilicity, Virgin Mobile and Rogers in Canada. The website also reveals that the company will organize a "Galaxy S III interactive training sessions" on May 30 for employees and retail outlets.
According to the latest report, T-Mobile and Sprint have already announced that the Galaxy S3 will arrive on their networks on June 21 and AT&T will start taking pre-orders on June 6. And, AT&T is also reported to introduce an exclusive red-colored Galaxy S3 for its users.
