'The Big Bang Theory' To Continue Past Season 10, Claims CBS Chief

It looks like rumors that "The Big Bang Theory" will only be up to season ten are not true after all. The show may still be running way past its' tenth season, as confirmed by CBS Chief Glenn Geller.

There have been speculations that the storyline of "The Big Bang Theory" has been getting out of context and it is time for the show to come to its end. However, despite these reviews of the long-running comedy show, it is still reportedly going to run its course for the next few years.

NME reported that according to CBS chief Glenn Geller, he is confident that everyone involved of "The Big Bang Theory" is very much wanting the series to extend beyond its tenth year of airing. He also believes that Warner Brothers will make it happen and ensure that the series continues to run.

According to the executive producer of "The Big Bang Theory," Steve Molaro did admit that if the series would finally come to its end, he does not know how it would go about. The show has been running for almost ten years now and each of the characters has evolved already. He believes that the show is still far off from its end and it is too soon to think of an ending for it.

According to CBS News, the contracts of the cast were recently just renewed and this will certainly tell a lot about the future of the show. "The Big Bang Theory" also ranked second in the TV's highest rated shows, getting an average of 20.36 million viewers.

The three leads of the series, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki got a deal of earning $1 million per episode each. The former CBS Entertainment Chairman believes that the multi-year deal that the show has strengthened the position of their network and marks another milestone with the CBS partnership with Warner Bros. Television.
