Despite all the hiccups, The Division remains to be one of the most highly celebrated games of all time. While there are those who got discouraged by the title's many exploits and/or bugs, there are some who have remained loyal ever since.
Regardless, Ubisoft cannot deny the fact that the game has not been very favorable to the community. With the scheduled State of the Game, what can players expect from it? What sort of updates will the studio give out? Well, everything is worth investigating.
The latest DLC called Underground was released for The Division a few weeks ago or so. Its main purpose was to give players a new perspective and to increase interest in the game. Unfortunately, with tons of disappointing factors - from glitches and common gears to disheartening drops, among others - it did not meet its goal.
Needless to say, The Division fans were instead frustrated, thinking that the game is nowhere close to being bug-free at all. In fact, even a new update, which is designed to leverage various gear sets, still did not sit well with players.
In order to tackle issues and/or determine what other things to do, The Division State of the Game was born. This is primarily an avenue for the devs to make their plans known to the public. It could either go from unleashing a new update or offering some sort of advice that would stand as fixes to some bugs/issues.
According to GamingBolt, the next The Division State of the Game is slated on August 18 (exactly 2 days from now). The only catch, however, is that no issues are going to be discussed or addressed.
This is due to the fact that community manager Hamish Bode took a vacation over the last few weeks, disallowing him to perhaps know what is going on. Nonetheless, he is said to host the upcoming event.
Surely enough, The Division fans should not get their hopes high. Bode already iterated that the State of the Game will be more about catching-up. So, for players expecting to get new revelations about updates, they better not turn the hype.
