Niantic Implements Ban On 'Pokemon Go' Cheaters

The creators of the viral and trending game of Pokemon Go is now neutralizing the gaming universe as cheats are now the target of their most recent onslaught to give justice to the entire player pool. Players who think they can use cheats to go around the technicalities of the game like changing the location to catch the Pokemons, are the ones who are now being targeted by Pokemon Go game developers.

Niantic Inc. says in a public statement: "Our goal is to provide a fair, fun and legitimate game experience for everyone. We will continue to work with all of you to improve the quality of the gameplay, including ongoing optimization and fine tuning of our anti-cheat system."

It is also stated in the Terms of Use of Pokemon go that players who are doing cheats or working on cheats can be banned for life due to "falsifying your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and/or accessing Pokemon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner including through the use of third party software."

Fortunately, the players who think that there is no reason for them to be banned or believe that the unfortunate happenings are just misunderstandings can be subject to an appeals procedure. This is based on a Sky News report. Pokemon Go is indeed experiencing worldwide fame as it is named as the most successful mobile game inside the United States.

Statistics has also proven this fact as Pokemon Go is now having the same popularity as Twitter, and has even surpassed that of Tinder's fame. It is even said that Star Wars actor, John Boyega, is one of the many people who are into the game, claiming that he has caught a Pokemon inside the set of Star Wars Episode VIII.
