5 Things We Want To See In Red Dead Redemption 2

There's no question if Rockstar indeed pursues on releasing Red Dead Redemption 2, the sequel to the hit 2010 title. After all, its success and player pool are enough evidence of its marketability. But as long as the studio confirms its development, everything will just be merely speculations (unless it comes from the devs themselves). Nevertheless, here's what we want to see from the second installment. All hopes high here!

Settlement Buildings In Red Dead Redemption 2

If Red Dead Redemption 2 follows the footstep of Fallout 4 (in terms of bringing settlement creation feature), it'll surely introduce a new kind of gaming experience. In one way or another, players want to build something out of nothing -- from pool tables to houses to buildings, among others. Perhaps, if such feature will exist in the sequel, there's a chance to rob banks using better equipment. Isn't that an interesting thing to experience?

Heists In Red Dead Redemption 2

Since Red Dead Redemption 2 will surely (still) be about western-ish action adventure, then why not up the ante and add the ability to carry out heists? After all, Rockstar has proven to be a great developer when it comes to crime-themed games (think about the whole Grand Theft auto franchise). And for sure, if such thing happens, the next title will make a huge difference in the history of the franchise.

More Actions And Reactions In Red Dead Redemption 2

In the original installment, there's a reputation system in which players can earn the respect of others if they do good things. If it's the other way around, they can expect the worst. To make things a little bit more interesting in Red Dead Redemption 2, maybe the devs can give it a full revamped. For instance, if players resort to killing and luckily get away, there will be a bounty on top of their heads. Sure, it's a silly thing to think; however, it might just keep the excitement going.

Swimming Shenanigans In Red Dead Redemption 2

Yeah, why not? Isn't it fun to see John Marston (or maybe a new Red Dead Redemption 2 protagonist) able to traverse through the waters? For sure, the sequel will offer a couple of massive coastlines and various islands. If that's the case, then it might be exciting to have the ability to swim your way from Point A to Point B. Think about it!

Switchable Red Dead Redemption 2 Characters

Much like any other games out there, Red Dead Redemption 2 will surely benefit from having two or more playable characters. In fact, such feature will take away the monotony of exploring the in-game map. It will give players the chance to enjoy the game from a whole new perspective. Perhaps, they can add another male protagonist. Or go with the feminine side of things and add a playable female character. Either way, it'll surely be a fun thing to have.

As of this writing, the release date for Red Dead Redemption 2 remains unknown. Although there are rumors about it being possibly showcased at Tokyo Games Show 2016, the chances are still unlikely, as noted by Alphr.
