R&B crooner Usher is set to release his new album “Hard II Love” in September 16.
According to Billboard, Usher could be launching his eighth studio effort “Hard II Love” next month as planned but a change on the release date is possible.
The album was originally titled "Flawed" as revealed on a Twitter video of Usher with New York artist Daniel Arsham posted in January. The singer has been promoting the said title since January, however, it is recently changed and finalized to “Hard II Love.”
Usher has not commented yet as to why he settled with the new title instead. Although “Flawed” seems to be an interesting name, “Hard II Love” sets a more appealing tune.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest during the Cannes Lions Festival 2016 in June, Usher discussed his inspiration on his new album.
“I find the inspiration every time I find a word: what is 'flawed?' It's something that is not perfect. It's a future relic of some sorts, to grow and blossom and gain texture. But it is those things, those tumultuous occurrences and things that happen in your life that define what it is, and in our country and us as people. All of these things are standards, and I became the inspiration. Now I can’t tell you yet at the end what it's gonna be, and but right now it's Flawed.”
“Hard II Love” album features 15 songs that consist previously released singles “Crash” and “Missin You.” Also, the song “Champions” from the movie “Hands of Stone” where Usher stars as legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard is included.
This new album is sure to take Usher’s fans to memory lane and will empower every music lover to pursue excellence and stay on his strongest version when faced with life’s adversities.
Usher’s latest album is available for pre – order on iTunes.
