'Forza 6' Can Be Played For Free Over The Weekend On Xbox One

Microsoft finally has stated that Forza 6 will be free all weekend under their Free Play Days campaign. The game can be downloaded now and can be played for free until Aug. 28 at 11:59 Pacific time.

Okay, how do I get it?

You will need the following:

  • The Xbox One console (of course)
  • An awesome gaming TV (or a flat screen would do)
  • Fast internet connection (for the download, you don't want to download longer than the free period, do you?)
  • Xbox Live Gold membership - Important!

So what are you waiting for?

Set up that Xbox one for download and play as soon as you can, since the game will only be available to play until timer runs out as stated above.

Forza Motorsport 6 was released less than a year ago by Microsoft and got 9/10 rating at IGN. If that doesn't entice you, then the following statements will. Aside from having 9 stars out of 10, it was IGN's editor's choice for the following good points:

  • Incredibly varied car roster
  • Wet weather is impressive
  • Rock-solid racing
  • Returning players are well rewarded

IGN only found one undesirable feature, well, nobody's perfect: baked-in track conditions.

Overall the verdict was, "Like a big bucket of Hot Wheels brought to life, Forza Motorsport 6 is first-order car porn for the automobile obsessed but remains an accessible and exciting racer for those who just want to drive fast in something red with a horse logo on it." IGN editors express.

If you like the game so much, you can still pick up a copy from your friendly game store or order it via the Microsoft store.

More Forza!

Buckle up as Microsoft will release Forza Horizon 3 on Sept. 23 for the Xbox One and PC.
