Google, the search engine giant, is all set to launch its first own-brand tablet in collaboration with ASUS and the tablets will hit market later this month, according to a recent report.
Google's own media tablet, presumably called Nexus 7, has long been in news. While earlier reports suggested that Google and ASUS tablet will be shipped in July, the latest Android Authority report claims that the tablet will be releasing this month.
According to the report which has cited an anonymous insider from ASUS, the 7-inch Google slate will feature Nvidia's quad-core Tegra 3 chip, will "be awesome" and will be priced between $150 and $250.
Nexus 7 is expected to be unveiled later this month during the company's annual Google I/O conference.
Meanwhile, ASUS is also releasing two versions - WiFi only and LTE version - of Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700) by the end of June on AT&T.
A hot summer is waiting for the tablet lovers, indeed!
