Remasters of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City are coming in package bundles along with their DLC on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The initial price is $50. The trailer that shows the comparison between the two games in PlayStation 3 into its PS4 remastered version was released by WB Games.
The developer, Virtuoso Games, was tasked to make developments of the Batman: Return to Arkham. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said that the developers took more time for the improvement of the game. DC Comics, which is the publisher of the game, announced the release of the Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City. Its target release date is on October 18, 2016.
According to Game Rant, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Interactive decided to put footages of the first few parts of the game. This is to avoid spilling the story of the rest of the games, especially for those who have not yet experienced playing the game. These games were considered to be the top two games of the last console generation. The remasters have made numerous improvements in terms of lighting, shadows, texture resolution, color saturation, and overall quality. There are fans saying that remasters are not compulsory, even if the package that contains Arkham City and Arkham Asylum will be bringing finer graphics that are suitable for the current generation.
Rocksteady Games' titles are also being remastered. Gamers who own a PlayStation 4 or Xbox are expected to appreciate these remasters. According to Techno Buffalo, a piece of post-launch DLC will also be acquired by those who will buy Batman: Return to Arkham with its two base games Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. These games promise an enhanced and well-boosted graphics. Despite the delay on the release of these remasters, the game is still worth the wait. It is a classic game that needs to be experienced by this generation.
