Peter Pettigrew from Harry Potter played by Timothy Spall has dramatically lose weight and walks the red carpet almost unrecognizable.
The actor walked the red carpet of Venice Film Festival and everyone was amazed by how much weight he has lost. The Harry Potter star showed up in a navy suit with red and pink tie. The only thing that remained the same is the actor's rumpled hair but other than that, he has totally transformed.
Spall attended the film festival for the premiere of "The Journey" where he portrays Ian Paisley, a Unionist politician. The movie is based on a true story about 2 rival politicians during the Irish revolution that forged a friendship.
In his previous interviews, the seasoned actor admitted his love for food and even said he was a glutton. He says he still loves food though "But I didn't have a thing in my mind that told me when to stop eating,"
Timothy Spall is a survivor of cancer and since 1996 has been in remission from Leukemia. He says the illness have changed his life. In a report from New York Post, the actor said "Life throws things at you that you don't choose, so if you are lucky, and have the audacity not to die and to live and take the experience, it's an old cliché, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
In the last 2 years, the actor had been improving his eating habits and health. Even the actor's son had a major body weight loss. He says that according to his dad, weight gain is a family trait.
Spall isn't the only one that had a major change from the Harry Potter cast. Neville Longbottom played by Matthew Lewis, Padma Patil played by Afshan Azad and Viktor Krum played by Stanislav Yanevski also had unrecognizable transformation.
