Dry those tears! New episode previews for "The Young and the Restless" hints Adam might still be alive! On the September 8 teaser Victor is feeling guilty that his reckless actions led to Adam's death. The memorial service for Adam wraps up and Nick (Joshua Morrow) takes Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) home. Chelsea will look at her wedding ring and reminisce about her and Adam reciting their vows. The scene is cut and the footage shows someone wearing black gloves putting Adam's ring in a drawer.
Could it be Adam? Fans are speculating that Adam managed to escape the blast, reported Parent Herald. Following Justin Hartley's exit from "The Young and the Restless", as Itechpost previously reported, it would be difficult to resurrect a perfect Adam on the show so it seems like fans would have to wait when Adam would truly be returning to Genoa City. But the greatest question is--who would play the role?
Rumors claim that a new actor as talented as Justin Hartley and Michael Muhney (both formerly played Adam) will be filling the role. It easy to fit a new face on the plot line, we can just say that Adam's face was damaged on the explosion and he had to undergo a reconstructive surgery.
The challenge is the casting. It would be very taxing for the "The Young and the Restless" producers to find an actor to fit the role perfectly and will not disappoint fans. Previous reports revealed the production is making casting calls of a character similar to Adam but it would be safer to just get Muhney back on the role.
On the other hand, things are getting crazier on the Phyllis-Billy affair. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) wants to continue her façade of dating Jack but Billy (Jason Thompson) wants her all to himself.
Chloe visits Victor and Victor said he is suspicious about her involvement in his son's death. Chloe told Victor that Adam might still be alive which only enraged Victor, Game Guide reported.
"The Young and the Restless" airs Monday to Friday, 12:30 pm on CBS.
