However, there have been clues leading up to the fact that it could be Glenn and Maggie who will possibly die in the hands of Negan and his bat when the series returns next month.

It has already been known and confirmed that there is someone who will die during the season seven premiere of "The Walking Dead," and the biggest question remains as to who will be killed by Negan? Over the past few months, fans of the series have been creating their own theories and predictions, singling out the characters that they presume to die in the premiere. However, there will never be an accurate answer until its airdate.
In an interview with "The Walking Dead" executive producer Greg Nicotero, he gave out an answer that has led the fans to assume that the death in the premiere will not just be of one character, but more. During the interview, he was reasoning out their motives for the cliffhanger season six finale; and why not the death of the character is the finale and rather a season premiere.
Will Maggie And Glenn Be The Ones To Die When The Series Returns?
According to reports, "If we would have shown the deaths, then they wouldn't have felt our characters in season seven the way they need to," was how he responded. Taken by the word deaths, which is plural, has the shocked the fans even more in the assumption that there will be more than one character to die in the season seven premiere of "The Walking Dead."
Many of the fans were devastated and at the same time anticipated the premiere even more. Based on the fans' theories and coming together of the clues, they have assumed that the sensible "deaths" to happen which will bring a definite change in the storyline are the ones of Maggie and Glenn, who are expecting a child.
