LG V20 Improves The LG V10 Specs: Better Graphics, Camera, Design And Software

Though it is definitely less talked about, the LG V10 has still topped most of the best smartphone lists since its release. With its noteworthy specs and incredibly sturdy design, it has become a favorite of many. Which is why the release of its successor, the LG V20, is a big deal - it is the company's follow up device to one of its most popular devices.

The LG V20: Design

Aesthetically, the LG V20 looks more like the LG G5 than it does the LG V10. Despite this, Forbes notes that the new flagship still carries the best design features from its predecessor. That is, the metal body of the unit still provides the same durability. The overall look is also incredibly sleek, yet simple.

The LG V20: Specs

The new flagship from LG sports a dual camera, much like the iPhone 7, one that is a standard shooter and another that is a wide-angle lens. At the rear, it is 16 megapixels, while the front camera is 5 megapixels. With its new camera features, the unit definitely takes much better photos than its predecessor.

Furthermore it has a 5.7 inch screen with IPS LCD, which has an alwayson secondary display panel, as noted by Mobile & Apps.

The LG V20 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and runs quickly because of its 4GB of RAM. Its battery is plenty stable, as it has 3200 mAh.

One specific quality that the LG V20 has is that it is the first unit to come straight out of the box with Android 7.0 Nougat

The LG V20: Overall Review

The improvements on the LG V20, particularly the operating system, are subtle yet it definitely makes the user experience more memorable. However, because Android Nougat is still in its infancy stages, there are plenty of kinks to be worked out.
