‘The Talk’ News And Updates: Sharon Osbourne Talks About Why She Was Gone For Six Weeks

In the spring of 2015, Sharon Osbourne took a leave of absence from her show "The Talk" after she collapsed from mental and physical fatigue. A year after the incident, she opened up on her show's season 7 premiere on what really happened to her that time.

The 63-year old TV personality said in her show's Monday episode, "I had a complete, utter breakdown," She described further, "I woke up in Cedars-Sinai Hospital and, for probably three days, I knew nothing. I couldn't think, I couldn't talk. I could do nothing. My brain just shut down on me."

People Magazine reported that her doctors confirmed that Sharon Osbourne suffered from extreme exhaustion and returned to work too soon after her bout with pneumonia. She said that she was doing too much of everything and that her head was like a whirlpool that not one thought would stay in.

She also confirmed that it was her family who put her in a facility. She particularly is fond of the group therapy sessions as the people there understand what she is going through since they are suffering from the same thing.

She advises her fans who are going through something similar, she said, "Go to group therapy, ground your body and soul," she added, "It's nothing to be ashamed about. If you had a bad leg, you tell everybody you had a bad leg. I just have a bad head."

It took her several months to be okay and now she is even a better version of older self. This year, another drama had hit her when she temporarily split up from her husband for 34 years, Ozzy Osbourne. The temporary split happened following his affair with Michelle Pugh who is a known celebrity stylist.

Ozzy Osbourne admitted that he is undergoing intense therapy and that Sharon is proud that her husband had finally admitted his problem.
