It looks like "South Park" Season 20 will join the political bandwagon and other issues as the hit franchise kicks off its first episode titled "Member Berries".
According to reports, showrunners of the animated series confirmed that they will be using the "tug-of-war" between presidential aspirants Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump. The show will reportedly use the issue's popularity before it even fades away.
It can be recalled that the show also featured Trump during the previous season. Producer Tray Parker admitted that the idea is to take advantage of Trump's "noise" during that time and use it in an episode. Eventually, the chapter ended with Mr. Garrison, Trump's Canadian character, being violently raped.
And speaking of Mr. Garrison, the character is still on the campaign trail as suggested by a synopsis released recently.
"Garrison is still on the campaign trail in the season premiere of "South Park" titled "Member Berries" on Wednesday, September 14 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
In the premiere episode, the National Anthem gets a reboot by an American Icon."
The questionable lyrical content of the National Anthem that "South Park" Season 20 will feature is now being anticipated. It can be recalled that the issue involving the National Anthem became a source of heated public argument in the past few weeks.
Fans will have to wait and see how "South Park" Season 20 rips the National Anthem to shreds.
Aside from the Presidential bid and National Anthem, the show will also take on the "Pokemon Go" trend. Fans will surely enjoy the show's satirical presentation in the upcoming episodes.
"South Park" Season 20 Episode 1 titled "Member Berries" will air Sept. 14 on Comedy Central.
