'Fifty Shades Darker' Trailer Is Out; Jamie Dornan Back As Seductive Christian Grey

Fans of "The Fifty Shades" franchise can't wait to see Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson back in theaters as the exhilarating 19-second teaser trailer for the next installment in the movie series, "Fifty Shades Darker," has been released this week.

It was followed by a full trailer which offers an exciting sneak peek at the most-awaited sequel of the unnatural but deeply romantic movie, "Fifty Shades of Grey," starring Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). The trailer turned up the heat on viewers as a text on the video read, "Tomorrow, slip into something a shade darker," followed by the sexy whisper of Mr. Grey to Anastasia, "Intrigued?" The short clip released by Universal Studios had the fans' excitement hit to the highest level.

The teaser though gives away so little of the movie which started with a display of fireworks, shifting to Anastasia standing on her high heels and unwrapping a box with a mask in it. Too short for a trailer, but it is sexy enough to promise a juicy story that can stand out over the first movie. In addition, the movie's official announcement poster was also out and it shows Christian seductively placing a masquerade mask on Anastasia.

According to "Fifty Shades Darker" spoilers, newly-single Anastasia finds herself still fantasizing of the mysterious, young billionaire in the upcoming installment of the hit franchise. The story will take fans to a time where the pair awakens their interest for another round of romance after Christian suggests a new arrangement, then clouded by blurry scenes from his past.

While details may still keep fans hungry for more, they will be glad to know that "Fifty Shades Darker" has already finished filming over the summer and was even shot back-to-back with the third film in the franchise, "Fifty Shades Freed." "Fifty Shades Darker" will first hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017, while "Fifty Shades Freed" will conclude the saga on Feb. 9, 2018.

Fans are expecting more from the second movie, speculating it will overtake the box office record of "Fifty Shades of Grey" which grossed 571 million worldwide.
