Pokemon Go Update: Region-Locked Pokemon Are Not Quite Exclusive; Here’s How To Acquire Them

There is news about Pokemon Go having region-specific Pokemon all over the world. Information was gathered however about where to catch these pocket monsters. There are 151 pokemons in the original generation. These may be available to catch in Pokemon Go, but there are a few of them that may be difficult to catch than the other. Because of this, Pokemon Go users are flocking at the Central Park so that they may get their hand on Vaporeon. However, there are those players who thought that they have already caught all Pokemon that are available in America, but only to find out that some pocket mosters are still missing on their list. The reason for this has been made clear. That is because some Pokemon are region-specific.

Rumors about this region-specific Pokemons have already circulated ever since the game's launched. After weeks from its release, it seems that fans have already confirmed their assumption to be true. Some of the region-specific Pokemons, as listed by serebii.net, are Farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mine, and Tauros. The Silph Road, which is a Pokemon Go community project, verified these claims also. Fans who are trying their best to complete their Pokedex have already been to several places just to catch these Pokemons. Farfetch'd can only be found in Asia, Kangaskhan is available in Australia, Mr. Mime can be caught in Europe, and Tauros in North America, as Game Rant reported.

According to the reports from Frag Hero, as of this time, there are varying reports if the region-specific Pokemon can be added by hatching eggs. However, because of the rarity of these Pokemon, there are evidences that no one can just use this method for the region-specific Pokemon. Since Niantic has not yet released any statement related to this, it has created confusion among Pokemon Go players. However, because of these updates and new features, users around the world are still keeping up with the game.
