Philadelphia Eagles' long-snapper Jon Dorenbos made his final performance on "America's Got Talent" but before he did that, he delivered a heart-wrenching trick that amazed and inspired viewers.
In his final appearance on NBC's hit reality competition, the talented musician asked the show's four judges to write their names on the four twos and placed them back into the deck of cards. He also asked Simon Cowell to write the name of a person who means a lot to him. Cowell then wrote the name of his son, Eric.
While performing the trick, Dorenbos told the audience why he became a magician. He said that magic saved his life. He also shared that he has felt lost a lot of times and didn't know what to do.
"So what did is I turned to magic, and it helped me find myself. It simply taught me, don't hate, don't blame and forgive," he explained.
Dorenbos' story is movie material. When he was young, his mother was killed by his father. The young boy was then taken into foster care until his aunt and uncle took him in.
After he finished his storytelling, Dorenbos drew four of the cards with the judges' names. Then, he got a chalkboard with "Eric" written on it and showed it to Cowell.
Dorenbos' trick has also earned him praises on Twitter from his NFL teammates. Aaron Rodgers was the first one to air his praise saying that Dorenbos' magic trick performance has become a source of inspiration.
Pat McAfee was all praises for their fellow NFL player and wished him to get the "America's Got Talent" championship while Zac Ertz went as far as asking the fans to vote for him.
"Vote for our guy @JonDorenbos! Let's bring this home! He's an inspiration to us all #Vote4Jon," he wrote.
