"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 got the fans excited when Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) finally told Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) that she loves him. And since Emma had for the longest time, some trust issues, this is a pretty big deal. What made it even more special is the two were not even in any danger or any life or death situation when it happened.
Everything seems to be pointing towards a happily ever after for Hook and Emma. However, the executive producer of "Once Upon A Time" teased that the two might have some problems in the next season.
For one, a source reported that Emma Swan will find out a life-altering secret next season and it will endanger the life of her family and friends. Could it be a secret from Hook's past life? After all, Captain Nemo from "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" will join the season 6 of "Once Upon A Time" and will merge his story with Hook.
When the show's co-creator Adam Horowitz was interviewed by TV Line about what to expect in the next season, he noted, "We pick up pretty directly from where we left them at the end of last season, where for the first time Emma professed her love without the duress of a life-or-death situation," However, the show's executive producer, Eddy Katsis was quick to note, "No relationship is a fairytale. So if people are expecting no drama, we hope that they will enjoy what we are showing."
New characters this coming season like Jafar, Aladdin, Jasmine, and the Count of Monte Cristo. Could one of them be a cause of Hook and Emma's relationship problem?
The fans will just have to wait for what will happen next in the season 6 premier of "Once Upon A Time" on Sunday, Sept. 25.
