'Call of Duty' News: How To Get 'Modern Warfare Remastered' 6 New Multiplayer Maps, Updated Weapon Sounds; New Treat For New Gen Console Players

"Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered" post release will have six additional multiplayer maps. However, based on David Pellas' recent interview, there are two ways to get the game, those who already have it or with a regular bundle of "Infinite Warfare." As for the standalone remastered, Pellas was mostly vague with the details, and only said that the release of the game standalone will be possible, only if the fans will want it that way.

"Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered" will be getting six additional maps for free. In a recent interview, David Pellas of Raven Software talked about the upcoming game, including an indirect revelation about the standalone copy of the game.

Fans of "Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered" may likely play the remastered release, but not necessarily the new game, given the number of dislikes of the previously released trailer video of "Call of Duty Infinite Warfare." According to reports, a Modern Warfare Remastered standalone could possibly indicate a clear gap in the audience interest between both releases.

Although Pellas confirmed the game's similarity with the older version, some animation and graphical enhancements were also noted. However, he also revealed that some movements that have been introduced in the previous Call of Duties entries such as wall walks and dive proning may unlikely be included in the game, The Bit Bag reported.

Meanwhile, "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" has returned on new consoles at the similar degree of epicity it had when released on PS3 and Xbox 360. Reports indicate that Raven Software worked hard to bring something new for the players, and that the weapons' sounds have been re-recorded to make them seem more realistically recreated in the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered." According to reports, the studio updated the sounds for DEgale, M40A3 and Barett to better closely sound like the original.

The "Call of Duty" new version will begin shipping on Nov. 4 as part of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Legacy Edition," GamePur reported. Watch "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Multiplayer gameplay here:
