Recently, an alleged rematch between The Rock and Brock Lesnar is making a buzz in the WWE world as it might possibly take place in the Clash of Champions event.
Wrestling fans may remember that Brock Lesnar last faced the "Great One" in 2002 when WWE had one of its marquee events in SummerSlam. The Rock was the wrestling legend of the company while Brock was the up and coming force unlike any other. It ended in quite a shocker as the young upstart managed to wrestle the company's most prized title and becoming the WWE's youngest champion ever in its long history.
If Paul Hayman's comments in this interview are any indication, fans might see these two wrestling legends go a round or two. This is what the loud and brash manager of the "Beast Incarnate" has to say:
"Notice how The Rock picks fights with Bray Wyatt, or fights with Rusev and John Cena? Notice how The Rock doesn't pick a fight with Brock Lesnar? Is Brock Lesnar ready for The Rock? Is The Rock ready for Brock?"
A fight of this magnitude is much better suited for something like WrestleMania 33, but another good idea is they make a match on Clash of Champions and completing a trilogy by the time Wrestlemania rolls around.
Bad news is that Clash of Champions is already scheduled in a few days, and with no such announcements underway (unless the WWE manages to pull off some ultra secret match surprise match by the time the event comes) it is highly unlikely that the two wrestling icons will be in the ring for the said event.
But could Paul Hayman's words mark the start of promotion that will ultimately lead to a match between The Rock and Brock Lesnar? Well then, the Clash Of Champions PPV might be a good place to start some fun and intense bantering between the two.
Fans surely are hyped up for part two of the Rock and Brock Lesnar.
