12-Inch MacBook Expected To Get Innovative Upgrade Soon

With the absence of the MacBook Pro 2016, Mac fans looking to buy a new laptop might get a little disappointed. It's been a while since Apple has last released a totally new laptop, so it's already safe to say that a new Mac is long overdue. Right now, people looking to buy a new Mac can just opt for the next best thing, the revamped 12-inch MacBook, which is also expected to get a bigger upgrade soon.

12-Inch MacBook 2016

Apple updated its 12-inch MacBook this year, giving it a faster processor and better storage performance. The battery life has also been improved alongside its looks. The price is still relatively high, at least for an upgraded-only MacBook laptop, but the new Rose Gold variant is actually a good addition.

However, the 12-inch MacBook also comes with some minor disadvantages as reported by Mac World. First, there is only one port, so user experience is somewhat limited. Also, users may still need to adjust to the keyboard. Needless to say, the 2016 12-inch MacBook is actually a good option if the need to buy a new Mac is urgent. Nevertheless, if users can wait a little longer, rumors suggest that a new 12-inch MacBook is also arriving soon.

More Developments Coming To The 12-Inch MacBook

Ever since an upgraded version of the 12-inch MacBook was made available, rumors about an entirely new version of the device started to surface. TechRadar says that there was a patent that was filed before, suggesting that the MacBook would come with a very convenient feature. According to the post, the next 12 Inch MacBook will also come with LTE connectivity. This should make things a lot easier for people who are always working on the go.

An LTE-enabled MacBook would also render pocket data devices useless, so it would pretty much be a very big step for the laptop industry. Nevertheless, the rumor is still raw and most eyes are still currently focused on a different Mac - the MacBook Pro 2016. It's a laptop whose specs are almost completed from rumor to rumor. The device with a rumored OLED bar and additional ports is anticipated for a late 2016 or early 2017 arrival. However, Apple has not verified this yet.

For now, it looks like the 12-inch MacBook is one of the most valid choices for Mac buyers. For people who are open to buying other laptop brands, there are also a bunch of new Windows laptops that can beat the Mac in more ways than one. Microsoft, Lenovo, and many other brands currently have at least one laptop that can fit users' needs.
