Hollywood land has been shocked by the recent news of the divorce filed by Angelina Jolie to Brad Pitt and one woman was said to be in the center of it all; French actress Marion Cotillard.
In a strange case of deja vu, Brad Pitt has been romantically linked to Cotillard who is his co-star in the movie "Allied." People might remember that the actor was also linked to Angelina Jolie when they did the movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" when he was still with "Friends" alum Jennifer Aniston.
During the first few hours since the news broke out, the press was already in full swing asking the French actress if she had any comments regarding the sensitive matter. She just kept mum with regards to the issue and just let her representatives do the talking.
Well, Cotillard has finally broken her silence and used Instagram as her mouthpiece. Here is a breakdown of what she had written according to Vanity Fair:
She starts with "This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into, I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up."
She then gives a wonderful shout out to her current flame actor Guillaume Canet. She also dropped a big wet blanket to the Brad Pitt rumors by announcing that she is pregnant with her second child.
"Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need."
Lastly, the classy actress ended with a message to the now troubled Hollywood power couple.
"Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment. With all my love Marion."
