With every passing day, the web is getting flooded with leaked details and rumors about the two upcoming gaming consoles – Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4. In the last couple years, both the consoles have generated a lot of rumors and it just doesn’t seem to stop.
Recently, Sony’s PlayStation 4 has yet again managed to grab the spotlight and provided more information for fans to ponder about. As per the latest reports, the upcoming console could be real after all, considering a former Sony employee’s resume. The former Sony official has claimed that he worked on the development of the next-gen Playstation. It has been stated there that this is the "best console ever to be made."
Attila Vass, former R&D Vice President at Sony Computer Entertainment US, previously listed on his LinkedIn profile that he worked on the development of the “next-generation Playstation console” since August 2010.
Vass has worked for the Japan-based company since 1998 until August last year, giving him extra credibility for this matter. During his time spent at Sony, Vass handled the development of graphic rendering technologies, as well as the creation of PlayStation 2, PSP, PlayStation 3, PlayStation vita and, interestingly, a “next-gen console.”
If the new details regarding the “next-gen console” are true, we might actually see the real thing pretty soon. But Sony is still holding on to their no-comments policy regarding the console and nothing can be said officially.
