This is where her journey begins in finding the Seven Deadly Sins and save the rest of her family.
The first season of the series was a big success which is why producers created an OVA or Original Video Animation as fans await season 2. The OVA consists of 4 episodes that aired in MBS in Kansai and TBS in Tokyo for 4 weeks.
Since the OVA has already finished, fans are now anticipating details and the announcement when season 2 will be released. Crunchyroll has confirmed that more information about its coming season will be revealed in the 43rd issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2016.

In 2014, it sold more than 4.6 million copies and became the ninth best-selling manga in that year. In 2015, the manga sold over 10.3 million copies and finished in 2nd place after One Piece. It is also labeled as the 5th best manga series for boy readers and titled "Best Shōnen Manga at the 39th Kodansha Manga Awards". It has also earned international nominations such as Best Youth Comic at the 42nd Angoulême International Comics Festival in France.
