Samsung's Note 7 will be back on the market again in South Korea on Oct. 1.
Since the major blow-ups and recall of the flagship phone of the tech giant, Samsung is determined to regain their name. Note 7 might have glitches in the past, but it was redefined and remodeled by its company.
Battery was the cause of the global recall of Note 7 written in an iTech Post about Samsung's Note 7.
Despite the bad reviews and feedbacks regarding Note 7, the South Korean tech giant is still keen on relaunching their phablet. Just recently, they started advertising again following the suspension of the device.
Though Samsung did not reveal the total percentage of the recall around the globe, according to the company's representatives, the tech giant felt that it is the right time to resume the sales of the flagship phone as the 80% of the recalled products will be delivered in South Korea.
"Currently, the brand new Note 7 products that have been swapped in overseas markets are using identical batteries to those that were supplied and used for the Chinese version," Samsung said.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Not a Failure
"I think it will be unfair to call it a failure as of now," said Tarun Pathak, Counterpoint Research Senior Analyst of Mobile Devices and Ecosystems (via Firstpost). "Since technology is changing at a rapid pace as we see thousands of innovative products launching almost every month in the market, we need to give the Note 7 some more time to recover from bad times before we declare its demise."
The question before was how flawed batteries were able to pass the tests and were globally exported, risking a lot of civilians and tainting Samsung's name. After the troubles of the former Note 7, the tech giant will rise up again.
