According to reports, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris indeed has exchanged text but a source close to Harris said "It was a very brief, simple text exchange," The source said both were scheduled to be in the same town and event at the same time so "they need it to be cool". Particularly if the media see them in one place, it would be good if "they won't start freaking out."
It was not clarified who sent the first message but reports mention that the ex-couples have no plans of getting back together "It was more of an olive branch between them." Swift and Harris has been requested to comment but neither camps have responded.
The source also confirmed that the DJ's new song titled "My Way" is not about her ex. The rumors about the song were based on its line "Why wait to say, at least I did it my way / Lie awake, two-faced / But in my heart I understand / I made my move and it was all about you / Now I feel so far removed." The Scottish DJ has also denied the rumor in earlier reports.
It can be remembered that the ex-couple had a Twitter feud over a secret collaboration of Harris' song "This is What You Came For". Allegedly, the "Wildest Dreams" singer's camp admitted her participation. The DJ replied with "I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though," and even praised his ex for the help. "And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym. Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though." He added.
In his last tweet, Harris said "Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one. God bless everyone have a beautiful day."
