The latest World of Warcraft Emerald Nightmare expansion has just been released but a guild has already finished what is considered as one of the most difficult and beat Xavius, a demonic night elf who was once part of the Burning Legion.
The guild in question who defeated him is a Russian guild called Exorsus. That means the WoW guild was able to surpass seven difficult levels of encounters and bosses within 24 hours after the release of the game.
Their victory is very significant just for the fact that it usually takes weeks to progress into the game. That's because players need to gear up first, which happens by collecting the gears they need as the game continues. Then, as World of Warcraft players become more equipped, the levels become much easier to accomplish. But with Exorsus beating the Mythic difficulty level with whatever gear they have at hand is a historic victory in the World of Warcraft.
World of Warcraft experts say that Blizzard intended players to spend a few more weeks into the game before they can finish it; however, it did not happen shattering the myth. On the other hand, they say that the defeat is somehow expected considering Legion is only the first of the raids that Blizzard will release in the coming months.
Meanwhile, after Exorsus beat Xavius, another WoW team from Europe called Method followed up Exorsus' victory. So after these two guilds, players should expect a lot more reports and videos how to go through this difficult raid.
Despite being completed by two guilds already, Emerald Dream is already impressive and difficult in itself. So World of Warcraft players should expect that the next raids will be much more difficult than the first one. For now, Exorsus will forever stand as the first World of Warcraft guild to defeat Xavius.
