Recent news reported that country singer Blake Shelton and "The Voice" judge Gwen Stefani are getting married by December this year. However, it seems like it is not going to happen as rumors regarding Blake and ex-wife Miranda Lambert getting back together had surfaced.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton started dating after his divorce with ex-wife Miranda Lambert. The two met on the set of "The Voice" with both of them as judges on the show. With the recent divorce of Brad Pitt and Stefani's closest friend Angelina Jolie, the couple is said to revisit their plans of getting married soon.
The rumor of a Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert reconciliation was triggered by news that the two will be collaborating for a music album titled, "Artists of Then, Now & Forever -Forever Country." Blake Shelton seemed enthusiastic about the joint project,"I think it's going to be one of those things where everybody is going to remember and everybody's going to have a moment...that they really connect to," he said. "It's crazy. It's magical," Shelton described.
Blake Shelton met Miranda Lambert in 2005 when they performed at "CMT 100 Greatest Duets" concert. He was still married to his other ex-wife Kanyette Williams that time. He divorced Williams in 2006 and proposed to Lambert in 2010. It was never confirmed if Blake Shelton cheated on Kanyette Williams with Miranda Lambert.
This news allegedly made Gwen Stefani feel insecure and might possibly endanger her relationship with Blake Shelton. Despite this news, however, it seems like Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are doing okay. They are currently choosing between California and Oklahoma for their new home.
With rumors about Blake Shelton formally proposing to Gwen Stefani on her birthday this coming Oct. 3, she most likely got nothing to be insecure about and she will be called Mrs. Shelton soon.
