Apple iPhone 7, 7 Plus News: Consumers Complain Of Dropped Calls, Data Interruptions And More

The hype brought about by the new iPhones is already starting to cool down. Now, people who bought the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are facing their next problems - iPhone 7 bugs. Apparently, new reports suggest that the new iPhones have recurring connection issues that minimize the user experience of the people.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus LTE Connectivity Issues

One of the tech world's best innovations is LTE, which is apparently not working properly on the new iPhones. MacRumors says that quite a number of Verizon and AT&T subscribers are having serious problems keeping their LTE connection active.

What happens is that, the LTE connection of the new iPhones are getting cut out regularly. This leaves the users with a slower 3G connection or no connection at all. During other times, users also have difficulties in getting their iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus to connect to LTE automatically when leaving their WiFi spots.

What's interesting about this is that none of the involved companies seem to have a solution to the problem. According to the said report, Verizon customers are being rerouted between Apple and Verizon and no one can resolve the issue. Temporary solutions like rebooting the phone actually work, but of course, this doesn't do anything towards the underlying problem.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Dropped-calls Issues

Verizon subscribers facing the said iPhone 7 and 7 Plus problems are quite frustrated about the said issues. When they are using VoLTE while calling, they experience getting their calls disconnected, which is quite disappointing.

AT&T subscribers, on the other hand, complain of losing connection after turning Airplane Mode off, IBTimes reported. It's worth noting that there are more complaints coming from Verizon users compared to users from other networks. However, users from other carriers in different countries are also getting the same problem.

Furthermore, Apple is on the verge of completing global release, so this could also mean that the said iPhone issues could soon be a global problem. Right now, no concrete fix has been suggested yet. However, users can just rely on temporary fixes like turning the phone OFF and ON or re-inserting the SIM card.

Hopefully, Apple can take over the issue immediately because it looks like carriers are left clueless on how to fix it, and having Apple reroute the complaints to them seem to be lengthening the existence of the problem.
