Pokemon GO Update: Gym System Will Undergo A Major Overhaul

Last week, Niantic released a new feature to Pokemon GO, the catch bonus feature that is helpful in capturing rare Pokemons. When you capture a Pokemon of a certain type, you earn medals that'll help you capture more Pokemons of the same type. One example is if you keep capturing fire Pokemons, then you'll earn more Kindler medals. The more Kindler medals you earn, the larger the bonus you get to help you capture much harder and rarer fire-type Pokemon.

Now, Niantic announced that a new upcoming update will be released for Pokemon GO, the key focus - being the Poke Gyms. The update for the game keeps rolling out and Niantic is still working round the clock to find and develop more features that will make the game ultimately better.

Easier Gym Training

The main change for Pokemon GO this week are the gyms. According to Pokemon Go Live, Niantic made an improvement for the main training system in the Gyms. They made an "enhancement to the Gym experience for Trainers of all levels," which means even lower level trainers will be able to enjoy the Gyms.

The upcoming version of Pokemon GO will change a major system in friendly Gym leveling. Instead of bringing just one Pokemon to training, players will now be able to train with six. Trainers will be able to train and bring six Pokemons to friendly gyms, so the previous hack of "placing a lower level Magikarp" at the bottom of the Gym tier for easy Gym leveling won't be necessary anymore. In addition to this, the CP of the Pokemon you are training against will be lowered temporarily to match the capabilities of your Pokemon during the training session. This will make Gym leveling easier and better as everyone even lower level Trainers will be able to participate in Gyms. Niantic said, "No matter what your level is, you can now have an impact on your team's Gym. "

Pokemon Go Hyped

Despite news of Pokemon GO players leaving the game, the game allegedly still makes $2 Million a day since the day it was launched. That's why Niantic keeps rolling out Pokemon GO updates to make the game better for everyone and keep players from stopping and quitting the road to becoming the very best! Last September, Niantic teased about the multiplayer battle mode and this is one of the updates all Pokemon GO players are waiting to see!

What do you think of the new Pokemon GO update? Should Niantic focus on improving some aspects of the game that needs more attention?
