The newly released iPhone 7 devices are technically Apple's best. However, this doesn't mean that these phones could no longer be improved especially when it comes to their camera capabilities. Recent reports suggest that a new set of accessory lenses have been introduced especially for the iPhones.
ExoLens' iPhone Camera Accessory Lenses 2016
ExoLens has recently introduced two new set of lenses for the recent Apple flagship phones. The said accessories are compatible with the iPhone 7, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. One of these accessory sets is called the 'Pro' lenses and it offers professional-grade optics from Zeiss. The other one is called 'Prime' lenses and it is designed for people looking to snap artistic and candid shots, GSM Arena reported.
ExoLens Pro Lenses For iPhone Cameras 2016
The Pro lenses are offered in three variants: the Telephoto, the Macro Zoom and the Wide. Each of these lenses will include ExoLens' Edge mount and key ring loop. The Wide-angle and the telephoto lenses will be launching in December and will be priced at around $200 and $250 respectively. The Macro Zoom kit on the other hand will be made available on January for around $200 and it will come with a Zeiss Vario-Proxar macro-zoom lens.
ExoLens Prime Lenses For iPhone Cameras 2016
The Telephoto 2x, Super Wide-angle/Macro combo, and Wide-angle 0.6x will also be launched next year. According to a source, the expected release date of these lenses is Q1 of next year. As of now though, the prices for the Prime lenses have not been revealed yet.
Apple iPhone Camera Accessories News
It is worth noting though that the iPhone 7 Plus is not included in the list of iPhones that the new ExoLens lenses could work with. This could indicate that the 7 Plus' dual camera system is good enough on its own, and using a third-party camera accessory would only make the shots less effective. Needless to say, it would be interesting to see how the ExoLens-armored iPhone 7 could compare to the shots taken by the iPhone 7 Plus.
