Bruno Mars is returning to the spotlight after four long years of resting his studio with his newly finished album titled "24K Magic." His album's title track and lead single will be released Friday Oct. 7 in Las Vegas with a fancy music video set.
Mars has been actively teasing his new single "24K Magic" through a series of tweets. It was also via Twitter that he told his fans about the debut of his new song track, constantly updating them until hours before the launch of his comeback single. "24K Magic" is slated for release on Nov. 18 through Atlantic Records. Currently, the album's lead track is already available on iTunes and Spotify.
Mars shared stories about his "24K Magic" album, a follow-up to his second studio album "Unorthodox Jukebox" which he arranged in 2012. The Hawaiian singer-songwriter will also have a big promotion on air as he will be the musical guest of Saturday Night Live for its Oct. 15 episode.
The official release of the album is yet undecided but the pop superstar initially planned to release his third studio album back in March, but was not able to push through because of his commitments with the Super Bowl half-time show. Mars then joined Coldplay and Beyoncé back in February for the performance. He also confirmed that the album was still in the works in January, thus a March release would still be uncertain.
However, his father Peter Hernandez tipped Hawaii's local paper, Honolulu Star-Advertiser, that fans will hear the star's latest work sometime in autumn. "Bruno has seven great new songs - I've heard 'em - but the album should now be released in September or October, to qualify for next year's Grammy Awards," he said.
The lead track "24K Magic" gives off the vibe of Mars reliving his current genre and groove, invigorating dance moves and continuing with party tunes like most of his previous hit singles. His new song is then anticipated by fans to be a throwback record.
Mars' previous albums received wide acclaim leading to record-breaking successes, and his last album "Uptown Funk" earned a number of awards, including Top 1 Billboard Hot 100 and Record of the Year award at the Grammys.
