When the DLC pack for Destiny: Rise of Iron was released last month, players can't access all of its content because Bungie did not release all. However, the Destiny developer recently announced that the rest of the content called Heroic Mode will finally be released on October 18. Bungie also confirmed that this mode will contain a more difficult raid.
Destiny players must have known by now that Bungie always releases its content separately from the raids. For example, when the Vault of Glass was released, it takes a week before they released the difficult version of the game. The same thing happened when they released the Wrath of the Machine. However, they only released them three days apart so players didn't have to wait that long. The DLC was released on September 20 and on September 23, the Raid was released.
Destiny: Rise of Iron Wrath of the Machine happened in the Plaguelands, a new region that was linked to Earth's Cosmodrome. The area was added to the game and contains very difficult and challenging puzzles, such as death-defying jumping puzzles, a series of deadly encounters in the dungeon, and, of course, getting a new loot. However, before the team can get that, they have to make sure that they are well-equipped to defeat Aksis.
Releasing the difficult mode only a few days after the Destiny: Rise of Iron DLC was released is Bungie's way of motivating their fans to keep playing the game as well as to provide them with a more engaging playing experience.
With the upcoming release of Destiny: Rise of Iron Heroic Mode, Bungie once again hopes to keeping the level of friendly competition among the players more fun while challenging them to become better. Bungie hasn't announce yet whether they will reward the first team who will be the first one to win against the other teams.
