Pokemon Go offers team selections namely, Mystic, Valor, Instinct. Other than that, there really isn't a huge league or guild offered. Despite the limitation, app-wise, you can always organize socially with your team mates and create some sort of guild. This article will tackle ideas on how you can build one.
A guy, from Otaku Kart has posted some awesome ideas on how Pokemon Go social groups or 'guilds' should be formed. Of course, there are no set rules for this, but taking ideas from what is posted should help a lot, especially if you're just starting out.
LaPeste - yes, this is the blogger's name - works in a software company which has employees that also game a lot, around 80% of them. This is an opportunity to create a guild, so they made one. The guild consists of five active players who organize themselves based on what the team needs. As of this point, it is not necessary that they will be on the same side but if PVP comes out, it will be much better if your whole guild is one Pokemon Go team.
Guild Schedules
On Friday mornings, he wrote that they would organize raids based on what the team decides. Either they grind to increase their best Pokemon, or go hunt to fill up their Pokedex, or go out busting some rival gyms.
Role Assignments
Their guild has these 'roles' that they draw straws from and has certain rules that no roles should be played twice in a row and other basic codes of conduct. Their role examples are:
Intelligence - Doesn't play during the session but is the team's central intelligence, he serves as info exchange such as map details and decides where the tip would raid next based on online information. He can play at times if there's a rare Pokemon to catch but should bear 2 devices, one for intelligence, one for personal play.
Strategist - Builds the itinerary before the event starts. Usually he is the strongest member of the team and also knows the area to be raided or explored by other members.
Analyst - This one should know all the upcoming details way ahead the raid starts. A week is the least lead time for this guy.
The Carrier - Doesn't necessary play, could be a family member or a significant other. The sole responsibility is to keep the team in check in terms of supplies such as water, battery packs, even snacks.
This is a splendid idea, they have a blast everytime this is done. Having a huge team also means it is easier to conquer gyms.
