BioWare is on a roll with timely DLC packs for their highly-acclaimed action, role-playing title “Mass Effect 3.” Per latest reports, the company, along with Electronic Arts, has released the new Firefight DLC pack. The new pack is now available for all versions of Mass Effect 3.
Firefight adds as many as seven new weapons for use in the single-player campaign: the Indra and Krysae sniper rifles, Reegar Carbine, Harrier battle rifle, Geth SMG, plus an all-new Blood Pack Punisher SMG, and Adas Anti-Synthetic rifle.
Besides gaining access to some of the cool new multiplayer weapons for your single-player campaign, you’ll also get two amazing new, never-before-seen guns, plus one ultra-rare weapon only available previously as a limited promotional item.
“After a thorough sweep of the galaxy, new pipelines within Alliance channels have opened up access to additional firepower to support our efforts. Surviving this war against the Reapers is going to require strength, skill and courage beyond anything you have experienced before, but an added boost to your arsenal may help you tip the scales in our favor once and for all,” the game’s official page states.
The DLC is available now on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, and will cost you $2.00 or 160 MS points.
BioWare has also launched the game’s first ever Nintendo Wii U avatar. “Mass Effect 3” on the Wii U features a brand new control scheme designed to incorporate the Wiipad. It will also feature bonus DLC including the Extended Cut, an Interactive back story covering previous events in the Mass Effect universe, and Mass Effect 3′s critically acclaimed Multiplayer experience.
