Agent May (Ming-na Wen) meanwhile was teased to have a near-death experience owing to her unknown disease. But eventually, despite Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) and Simmons' (Elizabeth Henstridge) efforts to go against times, they failed to steal Agent May from her untimely death.
Ghost Rider And Daisy On A Mission
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 opened with the introduction of the Ghost Ride/Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) having an impressive battle with Quake/Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennett). Later on, they work as team to chase after wretched ghosts. Should fans expect a budding romance between these characters? Bennett told Buddy TV at the recent New York Comic-Con event that there's nothing to expect as for now.
Phil Meets Ghost Rider
The new episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will also have Phil Coulson alongside his squad meeting Ghost Rider. This sees a very pivotal role of the iconic character all throughout the season. In fact, he was hinted to have direct link to the "ghosts" that have just shown in season 4.
Screen Rant also teased that the character of Robbie Reyes in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is entirely distinct than the other Ghost Rider portrayed in film by Nicholas Cage. In an interview, Luna shared his thoughts to Screen Rant on the curse incurred by the Ghost Rider.
He said: "It's something that was thrust upon him so he didn't etch that code into his thing, it's now just a bargain, it's his deal that he made and there are things I submit in terms of my own humanity but then there's the threat - the love for Gabe that actually keeps it and maintains a connection and actually gives Robbie this great power over the monster."
