Destiny: Rise of Iron gamers have teamed up to defeat the last boss in the Wrath of the Machine Raid using grenades and numerous melee attacks. However canons were required to defeat the servitors and in the actual takedown. The team also posted on Reddit about how red plates were used as part of their strategy.

Several Destiny: Rise of Iron players have been coming up with several creative ways to beat Aksis since the release of the PvE expansion that required six players. The group that defeated Aksis was composed of six Sunsinger Warlocks that relied on their Supers as they threw grenades at the final boss. The players posted details of their strategy at Reddit noting the use of red plates positioned in the room that were used to get a full Super instantly.

An Empowered Guardian in Destiny: Rise of Iron slammed into the plate allowing the players to maintain a consistent a stable barrage of grenade attacks sans any significant damage. It should be noted that the players did not completely forego guns in their strategy. In fact, the Scorch Canon was employed to eliminate the servitors which cannot be destroyed by any other weapon. Furthermore, the same weapon was used in the actual takedown.

On the other hand, it is said that killing Aksis presently may not be as impressive. The PvE expansion is believed to allow players to overlevel to gain strength to remain alive despite dealing with massive damage. In the meantime, game developer Bungie is expected to build more formidable bosses in their future games such as Destiny 2 in 2017.

Destiny: Rise of Iron Patch Release

In other news, Bungie is set on releasing the new Destiny: Rise of Iron patch with a new Heroic Mode slated to launch on Oct. 18. Gamers are encouraged to destroy Aksis in preparation for the new mode. Moreover, Bungie also revealed a list of known issues affecting the game since the release of the 2.3.1 update.

Destiny: Rise of Iron gamers are encouraged to disable NAT Acceleration temporarily, a post on Bungie said. In addition, a factory reset on the router may also be necessary to clear previous settings that may have contributed to the issue. Other issues under investigation deal with Dusty Iron Engrams incorrectly rewarding Legendary Marks while dismantled, Rise of Iron Crucible Emblems cannot be reclaimed, among others.
