HP Just Got Sexier With Slimmer and Smarter Laptops

HP levels up its game by updating the convertible, thin and light laptops again. In addition to cutting its weight, Envy 13 and Spectre x360 are all getting refreshed with the latest processors and improved battery lives. Although the Spectre laptop may be the thinnest to date, Envy 13 and the new Spectre x360 are extraordinarily sleek with profiles measuring just 14mm and 13.8mm.

HP Spectre x360, The Newest "Mobile Everything"

The newest laptop comes in a durable design, Intel Kaby Lake processor and over 14 hours of battery life. Starting at $ 1,050, the 13-inch HP laptop ups its display to a 13.3-inch FHD IPS edge-to-edge touchscreen that twists back into a tablet configuration.

With a reduced bezel, the company managed to put in two extra Bang & Olufsen speakers so that the user can maximize a full stereo experience while in tablet mode. The new model comes in a 265GB, 512GB or 1TB capacity.

Spectre's x360 framework has all the ports a user needs to turn it into a desktop workstation including two USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 3 support, HDM and a USB Type A 3.0 port. However, the most notable upgrade would be the laptop's almost 15-hour increased battery life allowing the user to recharge batteries to 90 percent in just 90 minutes.

Spectre x360 is on sale today in the United States.

HP Envy Notebook, Slimmer And Smarter

The all new HP Envy notebook sports a 13-inch display allowing users to choose from three options: an upgrade to an edge-to-edge glass display, a full HD panel or a touchscreen QHD. The said laptop is intended for those who want to pick certain features they want in a PC.

Compared to Spectre x360, the model also comes in a 13.3-inch design but lacks the ability to bend or flip into tablet mode. Compared to last year's model, HP packs in 4 more hours of battery life allowing it to reach up to 14 hours.

Other features of HP Envy 13 include two USB 3.0 ports and one USB Type-C port, Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, two Bang & Olfusen speakers, dual band wireless Bluetooth, glass touchpad and an all metal casing finished in aluminum and magnesium.

The HP Envy 13 laptop is scheduled to be on sale October 26 with prices starting at $849.
